Tish Holland, co-creator of Sundance Designs, was from Ohio. She moved to Tucson with her three sons and her husband for a job promotion. Her love of the southwest with its vivid colors and dramatic shapes laid the foundation for her innovative designs. But it was her zest for stitching that defined Tish’s love for the needle arts. She was one of the first designers to write stitch guides and to add embellishments to her work. Tish passed away in 1992.
